About

Japan 2008 - 309Meanie & Peter go to Japan.

OK, we commence our blog in the lead up to our trip from Perth, Western Australia to Japan. We leave on 19th September 2009 for our second trip to Japan together and Peter’s probably about 15th trip! When we get there we will update as often as possible about all our adventures.

We are visiting, in order, Sapporo, Furano, Hakodate, Matsushima, Kyoto, Yukuhashi, Nagasaki, Hakone, Tokyo. After that we fly out to Hong Kong for a few days and then home.

Why are we blogging?? Because we think it will be awesome fun and for family and friends to follow us on our journey and just in case you’re looking. We want to share our experiences in the hope that it will help others take a journey like ours and make it that little bit easier.

Follow us, if you want, and see how it all transpires; the things we do to get ready, counting down from day 40, until we leave and all the way from Hokkaido to Kyushu and back to Tokyo! We’re excited!!  We hope you enjoy the journey too.

    • Thank you Kat. We’re fine – no damage to ourselves, car or property. I have a lot of mopping up to do in the office, though. But definitely better off than some. I have a storm video I took on my camera. I must upload it to the blog. Thank you for your thoughts.

  4. Have a lovely trip. 🙂
